This sparkling little brooch is most likely a Scottish vintage brooch – it is quite secretive and won’t let me know very much more than that about its background. The green stone is made out of glass which has been cut to a lovely emerald shape and fastened into a beautiful metal base.
I think it is such a glorious little thing and I wanted to give you an idea of how you could wear it for example to a wedding: just bump up your hair Audrey-style and twist strands from the sides across the middle part where you have fastened the bump, to create a very nice shape to the hairstyle. Finally just secure the brooch with a hairpin and you are good to go!
